A short way to describe me is I'm just a girl who loves expressing herself through art.

​

A bit of a longer way to describe me is that I'm a local Michigan artist, a singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, based in the Metro Detroit area. For my live performances, I most commonly frequent Walled Lake, Novi, and Northville; but I have traveled as far as Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

 

I would describe my sound as being a mix of Indie and Folk. I enjoy using a variety of stringed instruments at my gigs and in my recordings - those instruments being the guitar, violin, mandolin, lap harp, penny whistle, and ukulele. In the past I have used in total around 12 different stringed/string-based instruments for music; however I no longer own this many, and it's a lot to carry to a gig. So my go-to instruments are the guitar and the violin.

I have been playing instruments and writing songs ever since I can remember. But I started writing poetry more seriously when I was 13, which led to me writing song lyrics more seriously a few years later.

I write what I experience, I write from my perspective of life and reality.

 

My passion is to create beauty and share that with others; my goal is to redeem pain through beautiful art - words and music combined, and hopefully have that art reach people that will be encouraged and comforted by it, amidst whatever pain they may be going through. Just as my songs are a comfort to me, and a way for me to process and realize events.
